eliminate the MECHANICS of riding. Replace the mechanical in riding--with feeling! We call it 'TOUCH' Natural to Quantum Horsemanship! Fingers, knuckles and body joints in the human body are one of two things to the horse. They are like the gears of a machine to briskly or harshly make contact to the horse. The horse 'feels' the change in human mechanics as abrupt or harsh, if only in the slightest movement. The muscles and ligaments of the fingers, knuckles, or body joints will also be rigid, to support movement. Those same movements of fingers, knuckles and/or human body joints can become more fluid --more flexible. This time, the movements are not as 'controlled by the human mind [desire] or human brain [mechanics]. This time there is a desire to communicate --not from our needs or wants [reflecting human control or ego] but from the 'human heart' that wishes to share desire by feeling and encouragement --not control. Recieve our help to make human contact more applicable, more pleasant, less distracting to the horse, because the action/movement is not as jolting, painful, or distracting. The human heart searches for the connecting thread of communication. We call that thread --'the Golden Thread'. The 'Golden thread is like a rope that we try to grab in the beginning, as we only 'feel this connection in spurts'. We try so hard to 'get it' and to keep it, but that thread is a filament of desire, the craving to be one with the horse. The filament of desire is divided, split! This is why it breaks, or drifts away from the rider. To better understand, we must look again at human desire. It is of one thing -or another. It gets back to the human ego. The I want! I need! Then --the I demand or command. The horse recognizes this split in connection --immediately, and they respond accordingly. They can even resent this and reflect that displeasure with seemingly disobedience. Not really so, because it is a disappointment in the opportunities missed between horse and human. The horse so wants the human connection, and humans are is such conflict, because of the mechanical social influences. This dis-connection, as well as that flint or glimpse of the true connection is daunting, as our hearts also bleed to make that connection. This is when the 'Missing Link' is realized. How do we find what is missing, and then HOLD ON TO IT? Impossible! We do not and CANNOT HOLD-ON to that 'Golden Thread' of Communication. That again backs up to human desire --the wants, needs and the desire for human control! Ownership? You can not own the 'Golden Thread'! This Golden filament is a GIFT --only to those of pure heart! The gift of the Golden Thread will be with you --as and when your heart is OPEN --without greed or e-motion. The un-abused natural horse --has an open heart, and they respond to equal input that is open, free of will or desire. This is when the 'spirit of the horse' connects openly with 'the spirit of the human heart' so the magnificent relationship begins. All things are possible --when the Gifts of the two spirits are combined. Be as ONE --with God! _____________ The ultimate union between horse and human is a divine experience, when you finally --'Get It'! When you do 'get it' you will look back and see the 'mechanics' of technique are insulting --to what can really happen, and with so little effort, when the spirits connect, and ride 'that Golden Thread' of connection that so bewilders those who have not 'been there' yet.. Soft Touch Quantum Horsemanship is the door --to that experience. _________________________________________ You can have a One-on One learning experience with our three-day mini-retreat. You can then experience the camaraderie between those who also 'get it', as our lessons are shared. Much more later! [We are just now re-starting our teaching/coaching programs ---after 6 years of documentation and location/purpose search. Rose M Foreman April '07] ~~~<>~~~ |
