When this program was created in 1980-'82, We took
into consideration ALL 'riding' disciplines, and as many possibilities for
error, as we could imagine. We considered what 'impact' --this information
would have on individuals taking the program.
We held on to the question
--how would this information effect the mind, the body, etc.. If anything could
possibly have any negative
impact --it was eliminated --or considered for
some other 'specific' purpose.
Therefore it is taken into consideration,
the reasons 'behind' the client taking this
program, in the first place. As a
coach, we must work at being open to anything
that can give us clues to help fulfill a client's
need. It is a continuous, almost contagious walk. Strategy becomes
consistent, to help modify mind or body
behavior and/or attitude, for new insight.
To encourage a client to stay open to other possibilities seemed a
good way to help think through the information given. We make few rules, allowing for self discovery. We want to stimulate a good thought process, improving not
only riding skills, but attitude &
life-skills as well.

We give every
student the necessary skills to figure
things out for themselves, learning to apply
information -as needed. This alone is so
empowering. When many situations are
realized, we come to understand that some
particulars will work -most of the time. HOWEVER, to accept what we teach as a
rule, or to ASSUME, is not recommended.
We do not allow abuse of any kind. A proper balance is needed,
and learned. You will learn to make corrections -without any abuse!
