 I have been searching.  Questioning what it is that I believe in, what my place that is in this world, why I am feeling the way that I am. It was a quest that started on April fools day – of all the ironic dates to begin, yet in Tarot cards ‘the fool’ represents a quest, a journey taken child-like into the unknown, a time when life is re-started, a time to enjoy new beginnings and see life with “new’ eyes and to enjoy it. It is apt.

Synchronicity, faith and perfect timing led me to Rose from half a world away – the shores of Queensland, Australia to McClure, Pennsylvania. Her adepts of “Be like a child”, “Faith without feet is dead” and “God’s timing is perfect” persist me along on my fool’s journey, her lessons in safety and survival in dealing with horses parallel my life issues I am dealing with at present, her unwavering faith in the face of adversities and her stories sustain me with the courage to continue down the path I have chosen to travel and to nourish my search for myself.

During my three day retreat with Rose, the physical and emotional challenges faced through the support of the horses in her herd, are still reverberating months later.  Each aspect bringing new insight and discovery and opening my heart to a new way of being that resounds with love for life intentionally led. And when that intent is for the highest good of all life is expansive and joyous.

 [Day three --much of learned habit  -like hands on reins --can offend higher communication with the horse.]

I did not necessarily learn what I thought I had set out to learn, but by participating in the program I learnt more than I will ever truly appreciate the depth of --at a conscious level.

 Rose tells me “change is difficult, but it is freeing”. The program confronted me that in seeking freedom, what difficulties am I prepared to weather to attain it, and what old habits threaten my safety and survival to withstand these, and am I equipped to make the changes necessary.

When we do not know what it is that we are seeking, sometimes it is very difficult to know it when we find it.  The program equips me with the tools necessary to carve my niche, and in the ensuing journey of its creation, the form to support me, and, for that I am eternally grateful. 

Thank you Rose, Tonkin, Promise and Mo for a passion reignited and a desire for more.
